My mom, after watching "Shankara Baranam" extended a technique to my memorizing the multiplication tables. She would wake me up early in the morning, and I had to memorize my tables sitting under the back light of my house. I did not like doing it, but it sure helped me memorize my tables faster! My mom believes that I remember my tables to this day because of her.
My younger brother (who was around 4) would wake up a little while later, and check on me to see whether I was studying or sleeping. He definitely would run to tell my mom if i was dozing off!! I probably was more angry with him (then) than with my mom. My brother does not remember much of this, but we do talk about the whole incidence as a joke!

Have you ever participated any of the IV's campaign on various issues. Have you ever volunteered your time or donated money.
If no, you deserve this and rot in hell. There is no solution and you people are running to IV only when disastor strikes. But its too late.
If you cannot get the original contract nothing can be done...
So by your logic, if he had contributed to IV his visa would've been issued no questions asked?? And he won't deserve help coz he didnt contribute?? Man I feel sorry for your selfish attitude!!

I will offer a different perspective. There are IT packages for every application nowadays. If you have expertize in your own field (Bio Engineering or Finance for example), try to think of unmet needs in your functional expertize areas and come up with a software product. That will be the best use of your knowledge. And do not forget IV, when your product becomes a big hit and you become a millionaire.;)

Don't worry, his viewership is something like 200k. considering 300 million population of the US, just think what %age of people watch him? i don't think his constant whining makes a diff. Americans are smart enough that these so called news anchors are nothing more than sales/marketing guys employed indrectly by the political parties.
People like Sean Hannity, rush linbaugh constantly bashed Obama (they still do), but how much diff does it make to the american people?

I see that for EB2 the PD is 01 APR 2004 now. I want to know if I-485 approvals is linked to this PD date or they will work independent to these days.

Steven brings up a good point about those camera phones. I fear them to a degree. Someone told me recently that they had read/heard advice that when you're using a credit card at a store make sure you keep the numbers covered up. Apparently, people with camera phones have been known to take a picture of your card to get the numbers and expiration date.

Once you get the I 485 receipt..you can apply EAD on your own..Why you need to beg for that to the Employer. Let it go. File for your I 485 and get the receipt. That's enough to keep you in status.
Filing AP and EAD are very simple process and you can do it on your own.

This seems to be perception based on what people hear or see, but in reality, if the person is capable and good, he/she does not have issues with employer/ nor does employer has issues with the person. While Desi consulting companies seem to stretch rules and have their own ways of handling business, they are also a part of the system. They act like a feeder to system, acting as buffer between layoffs and also specialize in immigration and can be really flexible at times and also give you a share of the billing rates which is not possible in a permanant job where there is career stagnation and lack of mobility.
